The research contributes to the overall improvement of food security of poor and vulnerable people, exposed to food price volatility in developing countries. This year report generates evidence on effects of unpredictable and increasing prices on wellbeing and development in poor and vulnerable communities on essential day-to-day work of keeping families fed and cared for support systems on which these communities rely on. The four key topics include well-being assessment, coping strategies identification, formal vs. informal social protection and future for farmers.
